General Description 

The G2282 is a monolithic, step-down, switch mode converter with built-in internal power MOSFETs. It achieves 2A continuous output current from a 2.6V to 6.0V input voltage with excellent load and line regulation. The Output voltage can be regulated to as low as 0.6V. At medium to heavy loads, the switching frequency is 2.2MHz. At light load, the device automatically enters PSM to maintain high efficiency.

The Constant-On-Time control scheme in G2282 provides fast transient response to be optimized over a wide range of loads and output capacitors. Thermal shutdown and cycle-by-cycle current limiting are used for protection.

The G2282 is available in an ADFN1.5X1.5-6 package.
